To insure the best absorption of natural, eggshell calcium, vitamin D must be present. Vitamin D is naturally available in foods such as egg yolk, sot, cheese, yogurt, tofu, cod liver oil and fortified oats. It can be difficult to get all the vitamin D needed from food alone. Plenty of sunshine or full spectrum lighting provide adequate sources of Vitamin D.
