One of the few lower light aquarium plants with color! A fantastic addition to your breeding tanks. Fry and shrimplets love to hide in these tall feathery fronds to feed and rest. I have also seen Bettas and livebearers like guppies use these fan-shaped leaves as resting places. they look like they are 'sunning' themselves near the surface!

Requires average light and water parameters, keeping towards the mid-range. Just an excellent plant for bronze-y green feathery background texture!

A bunch is 4-6 collected stems, and may be branched or rooted. (6-10" tall)

Grown SUBMERGED

Growing requirements:

  • 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ph 6-8
  • Lower to medium light intensity.
  • Grows quickly
  • Gets shorter and darker purple/ bronze in high lights and co2

As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there's always the possibility of harmless snail or dwarf shrimp hitchhikers!
