Dregea pods, often called Arti pods or Pradeep pods, are the scoop shaped dried fruit capsules of the Dregea volubilis plant primarily found across tropical Asia. When dried, these teardrop shaped pods form a scoop at the wide end with a textured exterior and a smooth interior. A great addition to natural bioactive enclosures and blackwater and biotope aquascapes on the botanical method. These are a great addition to isopod bins, springtail cultures, and reptile habitats. Microfauna such as isopods and springtails enjoy colonizing these unique botanicals.

Aquarium Preparation
- Boil: Boil for at least 15 minutes to help them sink and leach initial tannins.
- Soak: Soak in clean water overnight or longer, changing water daily, until fully waterlogged and desired tannin level is reached.
- Ready to Use: Once they sink and you've achieved your desired water coloration, add to your tank.
