Uses

Ideal for blackwater and biotope aquascaping. Note: these pods tend to float and require a longer soak to become fully waterlogged — an aquarium-safe weight can help.

Aquarium Preparation
- Boil: Boil for at least 1–2 hours to help them sink and leach initial tannins. These pods can be difficult to waterlog.
- Soak: Soak in clean water overnight or longer, changing water daily, until fully waterlogged. These pods may need to be weighed down, or simply let them float until they sink naturally.
- Ready to Use: Once they sink and you've achieved your desired water coloration, add to your setup.
