Polleni Cichlid (Starry Night Cichlid)

The Polleni Cichlid, scientifically known as Paratilapia polleni, is a captivating fish also called the Starry Night Cichlid or Black Diamond Cichlid due to its distinctive appearance. Originating from Madagascar, these cichlids are known for their striking black body adorned with iridescent blue or gold spots resembling a starry night sky. They are relatively large, reaching 10-12 inches in length, and can be somewhat aggressive, especially towards their own kind or similarly sized fish.
