Our Humble Beginnings
Our story began in 2018 when we opened our first location under the name Feather Fabulous Birds, a specialty store focusing on exotic birds. Nestled in the heart of the community, Feather Fabulous Birds quickly became a haven for bird enthusiasts and pet lovers alike. We offered a vibrant array of parrots, conures, cockatiels, and more, along with expert advice and care for exotic bird owners.

History

A Heartbreaking Setback In April 2022, tragedy struck. A devastating fire consumed our store, taking with it everything we had worked so hard to build. The fire was not just a loss of physical assets—it was a heartbreaking event that deeply impacted our team, our customers, and the community.

Facing the Unthinkable The loss of our birds, products, and the space we lovingly created was devastating. But through the darkness, we found strength in our mission and in the support of our loyal customers and community.

A New Chapter – Garden State Pet Center

Rather than give up, we chose to rebuild stronger than ever. In the aftermath of the fire, we relocated and rebranded as Garden State Pet Center, broadening our offerings to include not just birds but a diverse range of pets and pet care products.
