Pinguicula "Pecosita"

Pinguicula "Pecosita" is an in-house creation at Rainbow. P. "Pecosita" is a seed grown from P. elizabethiae with a freckled flower mutation, therefore its name (in Spanish). This plant gives out different freckled flower variations, and was discovered in 2022 by Jose while he was sorting some of the seedgrown plants in the tray. The flowers are really beautiful and striking, as you can see in the pictures. This Pinguicula loves calcium, please add this to your media.

The plants are shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect the plants. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off.

Our plants are about 0.75-1" in diameter, sometimes larger.

The plant has been growing under LED lights with a temperature of 75~80° during the day and 55~70° at night.
