HABITAT AND CARE
When choosing isopods for your reptile’s enclosure, consider their ideal environment (arid, temperate, or tropical), how quickly they reproduce, and if they can handle your reptile’s waste. Also, ensure they can coexist peacefully with your reptile.

Native to damp, humid environments, Ispods thrive in stable covered tropical bio active habitats. Colonies can be kept in simple set ups with the parameters listed below. A five gallon tank is sufficient for small colonies, expanding into larger habitats as they multiply. Habitats should covered and have 2-3 inches of tropical substrate with a layer of leaf litter and other natural decor on top. Humidity should be monitored often and adjusted as needed. Regular spot cleaning and replenishment of leaf litter will keep the habiat and ispopods thriving.
